BIM Objects for Project Planning

To help designers find the best mounting products, Premier Mounts has joined ARCAT®, an online community that provides information on building materials for architects, spec writers, consultants, engineers and contractors. ARCAT® includes thousands of BIM families, CAD details, specs, wizards and links to manufacturer websites.

Premier Mounts now offers free downloadable BIM (building information modeling) files through ARCAT® for many popular projector mounts, flat-panel mounts, enclosures, video wall mounts, audio products, and carts and stands. BIM is a 3D architectural design standard for generating and managing building data. Architects, consultants and integrators can use these BIM objects to design, test and simulate buildings and their components.

The ARCAT® library provides DFX, DWG, PDF and three dimensional Revit® RFA files for download. These can be used in AutoDesk® Revit® software to compile information for planning big projects from conception to final construction.
